Contracts Manager

 

We handle a diverse range of customers and projects so this role is varied. You would also be the main point of contact for clients, site managers and building contractors throughout the project.

You would be working closely with our two existing Contract Managers with support from the Commercial Operations Manager and admin team.

The role involves seeing works through from quote stage right through to invoicing – your main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer liaison – understand customer needs, develop and sustain good relationships, resolve disputes/problems
  • Tenders & Estimates – put together plans and estimates (including budgets and timescales), prepare and present documents for tenders in accordance with submission deadlines, best buying/purchasing, agree extra works
  • Continuous project managing – brief team, operatives, contractors and suppliers, ensure targets, quality and end product are achieved.
  • Work planning – assessing labour requirements for works and designating labour through weekly planning meeting process.
  • Producing RAMS and ensuring site safety
  • Invoicing – gather information and price invoicing ready for admin, agree valuations and stage payments with customers.

Qualifications and Skills

You will be suitable for this role if you have:

  • Technical qualification as a commercial plumbing and heating engineer
  • 5+ years experience in the industry
  • Good people management skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – via email, phone & in person
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good focus and attention to detail
  • Self motivated
  • Good multi tasking skills
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude

Commercial Gas Engineer

 

We are looking for a time served Commercial Gas Service Engineer to assist with our increasing number of boiler maintenance and servicing works.

You will be placed on small to medium sized works – including servicing, repairs and maintenance on boilers and heating systems.

You will need good customer facing skills and be able to self-manage as the role is largely field based. We already employ a strong group of engineers and this is an opportunity to work with a great team.

Essential requirements are:

  • CCN1 + CODNCO1 – Commercial Gas
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • OFTEC qualification would be an advantage

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good with customers (domestic and commercial)
  • Good problem solver
